Cold Process (CP) is a great style of soap making as it allows you to choose all of the ingredients in your soap. You can combine your favourite butters, carrier oils, scents, colours and any other items you would like to include to create a unique soap. Add lye into your ingredients and it will transform them into soap. The mixture of oils and lye causes a chemical reaction known as saponification to occur.
