-
Carefully add your Liquid Crystal Concentrate to the water slowly and stir it as you add it
-
Add your fragrance oil - this should be 1% fragrance or essential oil up to a maximum of 4% and stir when adding
-
If you want colours you can add water based colours and stir slowly - do not stir too hard to avoid foaming
-
Next thicken the base to your preferred viscosity and do this by adding fine dead sea salt (typically 6 – 8%) in a 25% water solution
It is important to remember that these instructions are guidelines – Scents Soaps and Candles strongly recommend that you carry out a small trial run before your bulk production. This is because different fragrance oils and essential oils can lead to different levels of viscosity and so you should try out which is the level that you want to achieve with your trial run.
