How do I make homemade soap?
Scents Soaps and Candles have put together a series of step by step guides showing you how to make your own soap. The two types of soap to make are Cold Process soap & Melt & Pour soap.
The easiest soap to make if you are new to soap making is Melt & Pour soaps. This is just as the name implies - all that you have to do is melt the soap and then add to it whatever ingredients that you are using and then that's it - just pour it! It really is that easy to do! Not only is this method of soap making easy, it is also very quick and gives great results. The other great thing about Melt and Pour soaps is that you can use your soap straight away whereas with Cold Process soaps you cannot use them for 6 weeks.
