Foaming Bath Butter - Stephenson OPC (Whipped Soap Base)

How To Make Your Own Whipped Soap Butter

Are you interested in making your own whipped soap butter? If so, we have the perfect simple and easy recipe for you.  This product can be used in the bath or shower. It can even be used as a hand wash if you wish. 

To create whipped soap butter, you will need the following items: 

·      Crystal OPC – Foaming Bath butter

·   ZENICOLOR soap colourant

·      Fragrance Oil

·      Jars or tubs 

·      A knife or soap cutter 

·      Electric mixer or whisk 

·      Mixing bowl  

STEP ONE – OPEN: Simply open up your soap packaging and remove the soap.

STEP TWO – CUT: Cut your crystal OPC – foaming bath butter into chunks and place in your mixing bowl. This will help with than handling of the soap and make it easier to whip.  

STEP Three – FRAGRANCE: Now that your soap has been cut you can now add your fragrance oil.  Add 2% fragrance oil to your soap and gently stir to ensure that your fragrance is evenly distributed amongst the soap base. If you would like your fragrance to be stronger, 3% is the maximum recommended amount in soap rinse-off products.

STEP FOUR – COLOUR: If you would like to add colour to your whipped soap, now is the best time to do so. Simply add ZENICOLOR soap colourant and/or mica powder to your base.

STEP FIVE– MIX: You can now begin to whip your soap and your added ingredients together. Start off slowly and gradually increase the whipping speed. Whip the ingredients together for 20 – 30 minutes. This will ensure that the ingredients are all evenly spread out in the mixture.

STEP SIX– SCOOP: Now that your soap is whipped and has a nice fluffy texture it is ready to be placed in the jars. Scoop the whipped butter from your bowl and put it into a jar with a lid. 

STEP SEVEN– USE: Your whipped soap butter is now created and can be used instantly.
